The mahjong tournament will proceed as follows:

There are 12 entrants in the tournament. At midnight of Sat 31st, each entrant will be assigned a letter/number ID.
These IDs will be one of (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C)

The games will be as follows, (game days are approximate, players may re-arrange games to suit their timetables):

Round 1 (Monday 1st Feb):
1 vs 4 vs 7 vs A
2 vs 5 vs 8 vs B
3 vs 6 vs 9 vs C

Round 2(Wednesday 3rd Feb):
1 vs 2 vs 3 vs B
4 vs 5 vs 6 vs C
7 vs 8 vs 9 vs A

Round 3(Thursday 4th Feb):
1 vs 5 vs 9 vs C
2 vs 6 vs 7 vs B
3 vs 4 vs 8 vs A

The four players with the highest overall score at the end of the first 3 rounds will then play in a final next weekend.

Final - (Saturday 6th Feb)

All games will be played on Tenhou, room TBA, Ari Red East&South(That's right column, 3rd down). Expect games to last about an hour.

Please screenshot the results screen of your games after play ends. I want to try to get SigmaBot to announce games in #mahjong, but this may or may not be ready in time.
It will be possible to watch games in progress, delayed by one round.

If there are any problems, please get in touch as soon as possible.
